| Vest-Agder County
Museum, established in 1903, is an open air museum with 40 old buildings
arranged in The Setesdal Farmyard, The Vest-Agder Farmyard and The Old
Street of Kristiansand (Bygaden). In Bygaden is The Telegraph and Telephone
Exhibition as well as The Maritime Exhibition. Nearby is also the Resistance
Movement Cottage from the Second World War and the Hall of Vehicles. The
Main Building contains the reception and various exhibitions. Take a walk through our beautiful open air museum. Let our guides tell you about the culture and history of Kristiansand and the county of Vest-Agder. Let the children play in the park. Enjoy your packed lunch or relax with a cup of coffee at the cafeteria in Mørch's Pavilion. |
